About the Artist

My name is Bailey Hamam and Mountain Magik is the hub of my artistic and creative endeavors. I am a multi-disciplinary artist based out of Colorado specializing in abstract acrylic paintings and wire wrapped jewelry. I am currently apprenticing jewelry at Catalyst Gallery learning more traditional methods of jewelry making. I have taken various painting workshops as well. I am, however, largely self-taught in most of the mediums I work with. I have always felt connected to my need and want to make art, as long as I can remember, and I began sharing my art in 2017.

My work is ever-changing and growing as I develop my artistic style over time. One thing that remains consistent throughout all of my disciplines is the magikal intentions used to create unique, meaningful, small-batch and one-of-a-kind pieces. In such a world that we live in I feel it is my duty to share creations that may spark hopeful reminders of the whimsy and stardust we all come from. I draw most of my inspiration from nature, from gemstones and the energy they hold, from practical magick, from psychedelic medicines, and from fairytales and fantasies. I have visions come to me during dreams as well. These things help me conjure creations.

I also love to use my hands to create unique custom pieces for any meaningful occasion. It is a delight and an honor to help bring your ideas to life! I am available for commission on custom work in any of my artistic disciplines. Custom work is subject to approval based on the scope of the project with a required 50% non-refundable deposit.
